Lesson plans
Bill Britton's "War and Peace" class at St John's Prep explores many complex ideas raised by war, including how some are seduced to want to fight in one! In this unit, students look at two texts, Carl Malantes' memoir What It is Like to Go to War and Evan Thomas' article "Why Men Love War." Attached are Thomas' article, question guidelines for the reading and sample assignments. Thank you Bill for sharing these materials.
